For over twenty years I have created computer art and user interfaces that communicate and inform in addition to adding visual appeal and atmosphere. My goals are to continue to grow as an artist, to master my craft, and to work with other dedicated professionals to create world-class graphics for all varieties of computer products. In charge of designing, art directing, and creating all visual material for the corporation, including: • Designing and creating all artwork for the corporate websites, software applications, and presentations • Designing and producing all corporate branding material, including fliers, business cards, logos, CD labels, point-of-purchase displays, posters • Creating art and animation for varied PhotoParade presentations and other software (Callisto created original digital photography software and games. Our flagship product, PhotoParade, allowed users to easily display their digital photos in custom multimedia presentations.)
Designed on-screen and printed materials for numerous clients, including Lotus Corporation, Lotus Magazine and MIT. Performed a wide variety of graphic and illustration tasks for software developers, including: • conceptualizing and rendering logo and icon designs • creating layouts and illustrations for websites and software applications • creating graphics and illustrations for all components of user interfaces During this time I also created Spin Doctor, an original puzzle-based video game, first published by Callisto and later published in slightly modified form by Spectrum-Holobyte under the title Clockwerx.
Created video game assets and designed original video games. Worked closely with engineers to get the best results with limited resolution and memory. The following were my main responsibilities: • creating graphics and animations for arcade video games as well as Atari 2600, 5200, and 7800 home games • designing art and graphical user interfaces for Macintosh games and other software • creating desktop publishing pieces and other printed material • interviewing, evaluating, and hiring additional artists
