Mission Dolores Poster

Poster by Primo Angeli for Pendleton Woolen Mills , Pendleton Woolen Mills with Primo Angeli Design , . Pendleton Woolen Mills commissioned me to design a collector-quality, signed, limited-edition series of blankets featuring the twenty-one missions of California. The first blanket in the series celebrated the Mission Dolores, completed in 1791, at Sixteenth and Dolores Streets in San Francisco, the sixth mission undertaken by Father Junipero Serra. Following the design for the blanket, the limited-run poster for the Mission Dolores blanket was screen-printed in six colors on an uncoated paper stock. The blanket and poster were sold in Pendleton locations throughout California.
